History

Leemar Excavator Components Inc. was founded in Parksville, British Columbia in 1986.

Originally serving the Vancouver Island Logging Industry as a manufacturer of specialized logging and road building equipment.

As industry trends evolved and the need for a reliable source for major excavator components increased, Leemar transitioned its business and aimed to be one of North Americas leading John Deere and Hitachi Excavator Parts Suppliers. Starting out by purchasing and dismantling equipment for parts, Leemar began its exchange program. Selling rebuilt and or used components, in exchange for the original core component. The Core Returns were quickly dismantled, inspected, and rebuilt back to OEM standards.

Furthermore, as industry demands changed, Leemar forged long-lasting relationships with reliable aftermarket manufacturers. Effectively, the combination of used, rebuilt OEM and new aftermarket excavator parts is what has allowed Leemar to grow its excavator parts inventory to one of the largest in North America.

Our facility is equipped with sophisticated, state-of-the-art equipment and knowledgeable staff with years of experience.

Currently, the company occupies a space spanning over 60,000 square feet of main warehouse space, shipping bays, an in-house component dismantling and hydraulic rebuild center, as well as offices for sales and administration. The facility is equipped with sophisticated, state-of-the-art equipment and a team of knowledgeable salespeople and trained hydraulic technicians.

With the restructuring of ownership effective March 2020, there is a fresh new look that is focused on today's needs with tomorrow's technology. Our fundamental mission will continue to be achieving the highest level of customer service through competitive pricing, product quality and exceptional service support.
